 Academic excellence is the demonstrated ability to perform, achieve, and/or excel in scholastic activities. Most times people fail to excel academically due to their negative attitudes towards excelling or rather lack belief in ourselves that they can excel.To achieve academic excellence, it is essential to create an environment that fosters the development of a community that can grow intellectually, socially, and ethically, and is therefore able to pursue successful and fulfilling careers. This is achieved through:  -University-wide learning outcomes that are integrated throughout the curriculum which promote critical thinking, professionalism, physical and emotional health, diversity and inclusion.  Internships and projects with local businesses and organizations; service, experiential and applied learning projects; and opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in scholarly activity, research projects and the ability to translate this knowledge into practice...

 At present the basic intellectual aim of academic inquiry is to improve knowledge. Much of the structure, the whole character, of academic inquiry, in universities all over the world, is shaped by the adoption of this as the basic intellectual aim. But judged from the standpoint of making a contribution to human welfare, academic inquiry of this type is damagingly irrational. Things fall apart; the center cannot hold, mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, the blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere the ceremony of innocence is drowned.
